Unity Studios is a state-of-the-art music production facility located near the beach in Santa Monica, California. Originally conceived and designed by Adam Berg and Ric McRae, each room has been outfitted with a robust collection of vintage and modern outboard gear, exceptional microphones, powerful computers, and a diverse collection of software. Every piece of equipment was meticulously chosen and incorporated in order to provide industry standard and boutique selections. This provides an inspiring, relaxing environment for musicians and producers. Services include tracking, mixing, music composition/arrangement, mastering, dialogue, editing, format conversions, sound design, and audio restoration.

Founders

Adam Berg

Adam Berg is a rising force in today's music industry. Having best been known as part of the accomplished LA based production team, The Decoders, Adam's personal music encompasses many genres and often strives to fuse the organic nature of human musicianship with the modern electronic aspects of today's most current sounds. Adam has a special ability to sit down with an artist and help them discover/harness their emotions through the development of their songs and lyrics. Here are a few of Adam's favorite genres to work in: retro re-works, pop, chillstep, future soul, r&b, hip hop, jazz, dance, rock, and alternative.

Ric McRae

Ric McRae is a recording and mixing engineer who has worked with a plethora of Grammy-award-winning artists, spanning many musical genres from classical to Hip Hop, R&B, and Rock.

Ric is a Los Angeles native who started off his career in London, England, where he studied and worked at Metropolis Studios. He then returned to Los Angeles, where he started as an assistant. He then became a freelance engineer before joining Dr. Dre's Team at Aftermath Entertainment, where he was the in-house engineer for nearly a decade.

Ric prides himself in sonic purity, attention to detail, and furthering his ever-expanding technical prowess.
